organicgirl, 2008-2023 - SVP Customer Development
In 2007 the organicgirl brand was launched as a new Organic salad brand & the only Premium brand in the category. I was part of the initial team that launched organicgirl in the US as SVP of Customer Development. Over the last +15 years, I have had national focus with the opportunity to work with retailers across the country. Through category leading quality, innovation, marketing & category management, coupled with category expertise/knowledge we’ve been able to collaborate with our strategic customer base & build one of the strongest brands in the produce department.
Milestones:

Today, organicgirl is the #1 Organic Salad Brand in the US & the only Premium Salad Brand in the market
Led national account teams managing Publix, Kroger, Wal-Mart & Associated Wholesale Grocers

Fresh Express – Chiquita, 1994 – 2008 - VP Sales
In the early 90’s Fresh Express was one of multiple salad companies in their infancy, trying to launch & establish the pre-packaged salad category. I joined the company as one of the original sales executives to help establish Fresh Express as the category leader. I started my career as Regional Business Manager that evolved to VP of Sales with national responsibility. Which provided me the opportunity to work & build strong relationships with almost every retailer in the country. I’m proud of not only our accomplishments, but the way the business was approached with high integrity, customer focus, with an innovative category leadership approach.
Milestones:
The pre-packed salad category today is +$5B
In 2006 Fresh Express was sold to Chiquita as the #1 Salad brand in the US with 48% Market Share
In 2007 USA Today featured Fresh Express as #10 (of the top 25) most innovated inventions in the US over the previous 25 years.
Dial Soap, 1994 - South West Sales Manager
I led the sales efforts in multiple states in the South West. Managing & developing a direct sales team & a broker network

Plantation Foods, 1992 – 1994 - National Sales Manager (Retail)
Plantation Foods was a privately held processed turkey company with a strong Deli business including co-packing for Boars Head. I was brought in to manage & lead their expansion efforts in the retail division. I had national responsibility for managing direct Regional Business Managers and implementing a broker network across the country with P&L responsibility

Improved P&L & exceeded targets
Doubled our retail business
Developed new item with our Q&A team & strategic customers to expand growth
Quaker Oats, 1985 – 1992 - Sales: Account Executive
I worked at Quaker Oats for 8 ½ years, starting as an Account Rep then promoted seven times over that time period. In 1990 Quaker created a new “Account Executive” management position designed to have key executives work directly with senior leadership at their key strategic customers. I was one of the initial mangers to assume this new role in the SW Zone to lead the HEB team.

I was the Account Executive managing the HEB team
In 1991 HEB launched their inaugural Category Management initiative. Quaker Oats was 1 of 4 company’s selected to participate.
I worked with our Marketing team & Senior management (at HEB & Quaker Oats) to develop and execute a collaborative strategic business plan
At the end of the 1st year, we were able to double Quaker’s business & build loyalty with HEB
I won the initial national “All Star” award recognizing the top 3 Account Executives in the US
